2015, winking back at ya! ;)

Can you believe it?! A year has passed A-L-R-E-A-D-Y! You and I have a lot of things we have to be thankful for. Although we may be under different circumstances, here we are, still breathing, living in this beautiful world. 🙂

I am so grateful to have been in 3 foreign countries in 2015 (which I still have to write about). Stuttgart, Germany had been such a blast for me as I was there to represent my university for a competition. I met a lot of people of different backgrounds with different stories. Got to treat myself with real authentic (cannot emphasize it more, can’t I?) Bratwurst and Brezel [pretzel].

Orlando, Florida was not short of excitement. Coming to Disney World and Universal Studios was such a dream come true. I was there to indulge in euphoria. Not to mention, I finally got to see Walmart. 😉

Stockholm, Sweden was totally different experience. Although I did not get to experience the city that much, I know shopping there is amazing. There is an abundance of things to see and do. I was quite lucky to have stayed right in the middle of the cit where everything is within reach. The locals were lovely… but everything was expensive. </3 No wonder Sweden is one of most prosperous countries in the world.

After 18 years of studying, I finally graduated in May! Having said that, in the industry I am working at learning is a process that has to be integrated on my everyday working life which I absolutely love anyway. Blessed to have gotten a job which pay the bills (where I can spare some bucks at the end of the month for savings. Asian HAS TO HAVE SAVINGS).

My family and friends are in good health. I am still in touch with the people I am really close with, and looking forward to savouring those friendships for-ever!

Lots of lessons learned in 2015 as well. The people who are meant to protect and care for you could turn their backs on you and disregard your feelings. You learn, you grow everyday and last year’s You will never be the same as next year’s You. You’re stronger than you think. You fight harder for things that are not meant for you to have. Your wins and losses make a big impact on how you make the most important decisions in your life and finally, there’s always a ray of hope no matter how difficult some things may have been.

I have so many things to be thankful for and I will stay grateful for everything that have happened in my life.

Hope we all have a fantastic year ahead beautiful humans. 🙂

H 🙂

Pros and Cons of Having a Younger Sibling

As a “tribute” to my brother’s birthday, I decided to reflect on our relationship in the past 16 years. The ups and downs; the delight and sorrow; the PROS and CONS.

It is just me and him with 6 years in between; given that I am 6 years brighter, sharper, and better looking. Oh, is it not what we are talking about? Okay. Moving on. What are the pros of having him around, you ask? Continue reading
